Tahun 2011 kemarin, aku ikutan lomba English Writing "Share Your Wish" dari Erlangga. Lomba diadakan via internet, jadi bagi siapa aja yang mau ikutan musti jadi membernya Erlangga di websitenya Erlangga, yang mau ikutan jadi member Erlangga bisa gabung di www.erlangga.co.id.
Nah, ceritanya kemarin aku ikutan lomba dan gabung jadi member tapi aku daftarnya pake emailnya Ms.Feri (English teacher) hehe, soalnya emailku udah pernah buat daftar jadi member tapi passwordnya lupa….dan akhirnya Ms.Feripun ikut turun tangan….(jengjeng). Lomba Share Your Wishnya itu disuruh kirim lewat member Erlangga dan itu bertemakan harapan-harapan / impian kita di masa yang akan datang di dunia bahasa Inggris. Dan pilihannya ada banyak…kita disuruh milih harapan / impian kita tuh buat keluarga atau negara atau dunia Internasional. Dan kemarin aku milih harapanku buat keluargaku sendiri. So, I choosed family for my topic.

Firstly, let us give our thankfulness for Our God, Allah SWT, who gives fresh air for we take to breath in every times. And He created the creatures (especially human being) who InsyaAllah always obeys for Him, obeys for our beloved prophet Rasulullah SAW, and we never forget to obey for the Holly of Qur’an. InsyaAllah we will always in His path. Amin.
Secondly, greeting and compliment always given for our beloved Rasulullah SAW who insyaAllah we are waiting for in doomsday, later. Amin.
Okay, let me begin about English in my life. But, before I start my story I choose family for my topic and I would introduce about myself. Well, I’m Quartin Qonita Qurrotaa’yun. I’m from Magelang and I’m from a simple family. My parents hope to me to be a success person in the world and certainly in akhirat. So that up to me who will I be in my future. Exactly I want to be a Translator, because that occupation is my choice for my bright future (InsyaAllah). Although, right now my English comprehension is not so ruled by me. I will never stop my step for my dreams, because I LOVE ENGLISH FOREVER EVER. I will always try to be a real translator and even though my vocabulary capacity is still so so so bit. But every things will I do. Right now, I have started to try translating English words into Indonesian language. I more and more spirit to undergo my life!!! I always ask to my Mum, “Mum, how if I am a translator or perhaps … I will be TKW???” my Mum always answers my question, “be translator is good, but if you really wanna be TKW in abroad ….? You have to stop your school, and go away from this country!!! You’d rather be TKW than be an advantage person! I know you like English and I wish you could develop your aptitude in English!!! Do not make me sad, please, my dear …” my Mum wished, “But I guess and I’m not sure that I can to be your wish, because I always think that I’m not so smart, I’m not star potential ….. So, what can I do for my life…?” I said sadly. “Dear, who says you’re not star potential? Who says you’re not smart? You just weren’t sure yet to yourself that you have it all. Trust me, YOU CAN BE WHAT YOU WANT, my prays always accompany you!!!
Well, when I remember my Mum’s words, I always be more powerful to enjoy my life, anyway I’m still a Senior High School student, so I can chase my dream by study hard! I’m sure I can reach my dreams, I always pray to God (Allah) … “ Oh God … I like English very much and I love English, I hope I could be someone who can speak English fluently, I hope I could be someone who can learn all about English, and I can digest words I hear, oh…. I hope that’s not just a dream, it can be true someday! And I know Allah is always known what I want!
Right now, I’m eleventh grade in social study program, actually if in my school there is language program, I’ll be there. Because my school just has two directions, science and social, and I didn’t choose to be a member of science class because I guess I’m not clever enough. I’d rather social than science because I wanna be a student of literature that will let me to reach my aim to be a translator. But frequently I’m indecisive to choose the best choice for my life. I also want to be a student of tourism. So, I’m really confused to my dream. Till I have in my mind that I want stop my school and be a TKW in abroad …. But I ever think it’s impossible for me! I must go on! I should be what my parents want. And I hope with my English I can share my English to my family and my school. I gotta be the best for all! Though I always guess I can’t do anything…., I can’t be like my friends who are very good in English and they can share their English to anyone. NO!!! I can change myself! I’m sure I can speak in English well just like my friends. I will always say to myself “I WOULDN’T WANNA BE ANYBODY ELSE, AND STOP THINKING I COULDN’T BE BETTER!!! I CAN’T BACK DOWN TOWARD ENGLISH, CAUSE ENGLISH IS MY LIFE, WHO HATES AND LEAVES ENGLISH SO WHOEVER COULD REMOVED FROM THIS WORLD, SO LOVE ENGLISH FOREVER, BECAUSE ENGLISH WILL ACCOMPANY YOU IN EACH OF YOUR STEP!!! I WOULDN’T GO DOWN AND NEVER SAY NEVER FOR LEARNING ENGLISH!!!” I’m so sure and with these words! Little by little, world could be change by me! I do really hope I really be a person who have talented in English. It’s in me! I will share my English to the world!!! (if I really could).
PLANS OF MY LIFE WITH MY OWN ENGLISH:
GET ACHIEVEMENTS IN MY SCHOOL (especially in English) ►graduated from my school► Join an English Course ► FIND JOB VACANCY ► ENROLL TO TOURISM’S FIELD (DIPLOMA / BA degree) ► ENROLL TO LITERATURE’S FIELD (MA degree) ► Be A Translator ► Be a Back Packer. (Because I WANNA GO AROUND THIS WORLD, Amin)
I DO REALLY HOPE THAT MY DREAMS COULD BE HANDFUL BY MY HANDS
I WILL DEVELOP MY APTITUDE IN ENGLISH!!!
Actually, I have talent in English, almost all of my friends said to me that when I speak in English that heard so fluent. And I guess so. Indeed, I also guess that I can speak fluently, but actually I can speak English well and fluently while I am reading the sentences. When whoever commands me to speak to the public without any text I can’t speak out frankly. I can speak English well while I am reading ^_^
And my wish after joined the English course, I hope I can speak English well and fluently, I can understand in every English words, Be like: 1) someday I meet a tourist, the tourist ask me to speak English with him, so I hope I can understand in every words he said and I can answer/ say some words in English frankly. And the tourist understands what I meant. 2) listening music is my hobby. I like music, exactly west songs, but sometimes I can understand to mean it, and I feel difficult to translate the words. I hope someday when I listen to the west song I can immediately understand what I heard. Amin. It isn’t just in a song but also in movies. I hope someday when I watch a movie (without subtitle) I can immediately understand what the actors meantJ. Amin
Those are my targets after I join English course… thus, I can develop my talent in English for my bright future.

Please pray for me in order to be really an advantage person because of English. Because when I become a success person later everything I got are for you (my family). I LOVE ENGLISH VERY MUCH. ENGLISH IS MY SOUL.

Dulu setelah aku buka di website Erlangga dan ternyata aku bukan dari ke4 pemenang..tapi gag apa karena yang aku cari adalah pengalaman….tapi disisi lain aku juga butuh uang siiih…..Tapi gag papa…I WILL NEVER EVER GIVE UP!!!
